Ministry in front of an abortion center can be intense. As we’ve talked about in the past the spiritual warfare can be overwhelming. However, there are times when ministry in front of the abortion center is boring and you don’t really feel like you’re having an impact. In this episode, we talk about how to stay engaged on the sidewalk even in those times when there’s not a lot of interactions.

The story of Christmas is on the forefront of everyone’s mind during this season. In this episode, we share how you can use the birth of Christ as a springboard to help men and women at the abortion center see the plan of God and the value of their baby. 

The vast majority of abortions take place because of sexual immorality. Though our primary focus is helping moms see the value of their babies there is an appropriate time and way to introduce Biblical truths about sexual purity. The three talking points we train our sidewalk teams to use are effective but there are times when sharing the graphic reality of abortion can be effective in changing a mother's mind about abortion as well. We do a lot of teaching and training on what to say to those who are entering the abortion centers but haven't talked a lot about what to say to those exiting. In this episode, we share some helping things to say in various scenarios of those leaving the abortion centers. 

There is intense spiritual warfare involved in the ministry at abortion centers. Sometimes you can see the battle on the faces of those you are ministering to. In this episode, Vicky shares a story of a mom her team recently encountered at the abortion center and how they dealt with the warfare going on in her heart and mind.

There is always the temptation to grumble and complain about the hardships we experience in life and ministry. In a ministry as intense as this the temptation can even me stronger. The mininstry at abortion centers is a spiritaully heavy ministry. Abortion centers certainly aren't places of joy. However, as believers in Jesus we can have joy in spite of what is happening in these dark places. When Jesus sent His disciples out He sent them two-by-two. God doesn’t intend for us to be alone as we minister on the sidewalk, He wants a team of people. In this episode, we talk about how to build sidewalk teams and share some principles we've learned to help in building and maintaining sidewalk ministry teams at the local abortion centers.
